Chris' blues quartet | GUEGAN G.
Written on a 12-bar blues chart, this piece allows percussion students to improve their improvisation skills and to develop their listening skills within a musical group.
After the exposure of the successive theme on vibraphone then on marimba, students will be able to give free rein to their imagination in the major pentatonic mode of C.
This quartet is written for 2 performers on a 4/3 marimba, 1 on vibraphone and 1 on a drum set.
Level : end of 1st cycle, beginning of 2nd cycle.
